Thanks to the efforts of Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven and some of his parishioners, the Connecticut state legislature on March 29, 1882, officially chartered the Knights of Columbus as a fraternal benefit society. The Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity.

Saturday May 4th:  Join your fellow parishoners on the golf course at Mather Golf Club and afterwards at the SJV prarish hall patio for the Bbq.  For more info go to:

Sunday May12th:   Annual Mother's Day Breakfast in the parish hall after the 8:00 am & 9:45 am Masses.  Mothers are treated to a complemtary breakfast this Sunday. Normal charges for other parishoners: $5.00 each or $20.00 per family. For more info go to:

Saturday Mar11th & Sunday May12th:  The Knights will be selling Roses to raise Funds for the Sacramento Life Center. Your Mother gets treated to a long stem rose, new and expextant mothers get care at the Life Center. For more info go to:
