Thanks to the efforts of Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven and some of his parishioners, the Connecticut state legislature on March 29, 1882, officially chartered the Knights of Columbus as a fraternal benefit society. The Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity.

UpComing Knights Events

Sunday September 17th - Begins our Monthly Breakfast = Setup Crew starting at 7:30am. We Serve Breakfasts after the 8:00am and the 9:45 am Masses. Clean up Crew Starts at 11:15am to finish. All Knights and their are invited to help out, including older Children who often work as servers and dining room help.  We serve breakfast for the parish September through May each year.

Saturday September 30th - The Knights will be serving the Festival dinner on the Fireside Room Patio tickets are only $15.00 for more info or to buy tickets go to: http://www.ranchoknights.com/dinner

Friday October 27th - The Knights will be hosting a right to life event at SJV Parish Hall.  The Featured Speaker is Trent Horn of Catholic Answers.  The topic of the evening will be "The Case for Life" tickets and more info is on line at: http://www.ranchoknights.com/trent
